1. H-E-B Feast of Sharing. On Tuesday, November 24 from 4-8 p.m. if you have recently moved to Austin and do not have time to cook a massive Thanksgiving feast, Austin movers suggest going to the annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing for a holiday meal and festivities.

2. Holiday Model Train Show. This is a free, fun Thanksgiving event in Austin that the entire family can enjoy. Even if you are not really into trains, the displays at ArtSpace are amazing and draw crowds of over 7,000! You can take a break from moving to Austin and check out the Holiday Model Train Show on Wednesday, November 25 and Friday, November 27 from 12-5 p.m.

3. Santa on the Terrace. Especially suited for younger children, on Friday, November 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. bring your children to Long Center to enjoy a free photo with Santa and Rudolph with a backdrop that is one of the best views in all of Austin. Food trucks will also be present in case you get hungry. Pictures are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to get there early in order to get a good spot in line.
