Former head coach of the Texas Longhorns, Mac Brown, has found a new home. No, not a physical home – as he still maintains his permanent residence at his home in Austin – but a home that will help him pay his mortgage.
This past week Mack Brown agreed to a deal with ESPN that will put Mack Brown on screen, but this time as a College Football analyst. Brown is not a complete stranger to the TV screen as he hosted many segments on the Longhorn Network since the TV Station launched in 2011.
Mack Brown stepped down as the head coach of UT this last December with a career record of 244-122-1, including a National Title in 2005.
While many people speculated whether he would try to coach again, it appears as if our fellow Austinite has moved on from the sideline and will be settling in to a new home at ESPN.
